The hotel was full of guests attending HOYs the same as our party. I was a little disappointed the hotel hadn’t planned alternative arrangements for Saturday for breakfast to allow guests to reach HOYS for 7am. Breakfasts were made up when we asked but we would have preferred the hotel to have thought about this in advance and offered it to us rather than have to ask. It would have been an anazing experience if the hotel has arranged their chef to hone in an hour early and have cooked breakfast ready for guests for this once a year event?

Elaine at the front desk was so helpful. She was friendly and accommodating when we asked if we could swap our room for a quieter location. She checked up on us within 5 minutes to see if we were ok with the second room. We only stayed for one night, due to a boiler breaking down at home. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious too. We didn’t use any of the hotel facilities so the review is based on a “room only” basis. A very good first impression of an IHG hotel.

We had a lovely Easter weekend break at the Crowne Plaza Solihull. We specifically chose this hotel because it allows children in the pool, and it didn’t disappoint. On arrival, Jessica at reception was incredibly helpful—although our request for interconnecting rooms didn’t come through via Booking.com, she ensured we had adjacent rooms and moved us to interconnecting ones the next day. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The shower had great water pressure, and the hotel’s location is perfect—close to parking and right by Solihull town centre and the mall. Josh, who checked us out, was also very kind and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return!

Beautiful property, we were upgraded to an executive room because I needed a walk in shower, lots of parking (chargeable👎) and within 2 minutes walk of Touchwood which has lots of shops and eateries + only a 10 minute walk to the station with trains direct to the centre of Birmingham 👍

I love the location, atmosphere and staff at this hotel. This is our second time staying here and I this will always be my first preference when staying in Solihull to visit family. The breakfast, service, cleanliness and food in general was excellent.

It was a lovely relaxing stay, and bonus to have access to the club room, which we were not expecting. The room was bigger than what l was expecting, nice and comfortable 👌.

We stayed here for a stopover to and from a family event in Nottingham. It proved to be an excellent choice. Handy for many restaurants in Solihull centre, we were able to meet up with family for a meal in a nearby restaurant after a short stroll through the shopping mall nearby. The breakfast was very tasty and there was a lot of variety. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and spotless.

We were made very welcome at reception, which is always a good start! Having arrived a little early we were prepared to wait in the lounge, but that wasn't a problem, A quick check and the room was ready for us. The room was fine, good facilities albeit the bed was a little too soft, but we still managed to sleep well over the four nights stay.

Good location opposite shopping centre and plenty of restaurants. Rooms were clean, warm and good amenities. Lovely breakfast, good options available.

Very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating especially at breakfast. The front desk staff were very helpful also. Check in and check out were very easy. The beds were very comfortable. Overall a very pleasant stay.
